LENZ QUARTER IN LENASIA IS OPEN
Lenz Quarter, the 11,500m² upmarket convenience centre, opened in Lenasia on 30 October 2025. It’s a ‘first’ for Lenasia, boasting Woolworths Food, Checkers FreshX and Dis-Chem together with a chilled and modern food court plus an outstanding mix of lifestyle retail.
TOWN SQUARE AT NEWMARKET IN ALBERTON IS OPEN
Town Square at Newmarket opened in Alberton on 30 May 2024, bringing something completely new to Alberton’s shopper market. As retail strategists for the mall, RNS’s tenant mix vision was to bring ‘big box’ fashion outlet and homeware stores to the centre. These are an integral part of the overall retail strategy, offering Alberton shoppers a vast choice of premium fashion, sportswear and athleisure brands at outlet prices, as well as a superb range of homeware.
The 35,000m² centre also features a very compelling restaurant cluster which has made the centre a go-to destination for eating out and meeting with friends and family.
Hebron Mall’s Phase 2 opens
Hebron Mall, which is located 30km north-west of the Pretoria CBD, opened its Phase 2 extension on 20 March 2024. It introduced its customers to a further 7,000m² of exceptional retail, adding even greater appeal to this popular mall. Retail Network Services strategised the tenant mix, signing up 24 new retailers, banks and eateries including, amongst others, a 2,355m² Superspar, 4 full-service banks, additional branded fashion and a community favourite – Nando’s. The Queen Mother of the local Bakwena Tribal Authority cut the ribbon to declare Hebron Mall’s Phase 2 officially open.
HEBRON MALL
Hebron Mall opened in North West province in October 2022, bringing modern retail to Soshanguve, Garankuwa, and surrounding communities. The 22,000m² joint venture between Twin City Developments and Moolman Group has 90 new stores, a family entertainment area and food court, free WiFi, and more than 900 parking bays. Hebron Mall is anchored by Shoprite, Boxer - which celebrated the opening of its 400th store, and Westpack Lifestyle. The RNS leasing team put together a superb retail and restaurant mix.
